NF Forward is an organization founded to raise money and awareness for Neurofibromatosis, a rare genetic disease that affects 2.5 million individuals. NF Forward’s signature event is the Benefit, a gala held in Detroit each November and hosted by Quicken Loans chairman Dan Gilbert and his wife Jennifer. Our creative team partnered with the nonprofit to create an identity package and invitation suite for the seventh annual gala.
In this invitation, the content is bound like a book, uses the illustrations from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and utilizes psychedelic colors to give a modern and unusual look. The interesting typography helps contribute to an immersive experience for guests by being simultaneously beautiful and slightly off – just like Wonderland itself.
